Ever since I signed up to receive Security Bulletin
updates from Microsoft I get a bunch of phony security
updates supposedly from Microsoft. I also get a bunch of
undeliverable e-mail notification messages.

Does Microsoft have a server(s) that is infected with a
virus that is causing these bogus e-mails? I'm kind of
wishing I wouldn't have signed up to receive security
updates. Is there a way to unsubscribe?

I had same problem but it was because I had contracted
the swen virus- on a windows 98 2ed system.
I suspect that's your situation also.AND- NO full system
scan even FOUND the installed virus. Problem was solved
only by writing 11 lines into my registry in dos.
Virus is now out of my system but i am still receiving
those bogus emails- and Norton anti virus 2004 is catching
them all.In talking to my isp, Dell and Norton I have
found no way to get rid of them.Good luck.
