Microsoft Security Pack, Latest Net Update, Newest Critical Updaten , etc.

I recently received five unsolicited e-mails with the
three titles above and also titles of Current Security
Update and Latesst Network Security Update. They all
purport to be from Microsoft. Can someone please tell me
if they are for real, or virus traps?
I would appreciate it if you could e-mail me a response.

Many many people have asked the same question and received answers by
clicking on the + in the virus newsgroup.

They are virus traps. Microsoft NEVER sends out executables as part of
e-mails to its customers. It always uses WindowsUpdate, or at worst a
private FTP site to get critical patches to its customers.
