I cannot seem to figure out how to add music to my whole
slide show presentation. I know how to add music to one
slide, but I need it to play throughout the whole show.
In addition, I've got two music files I want to play right
after each other. Thanks!

For information on how to have your song play through multiple slides, check
out this PPT FAQ page:
Play sounds across multiple slides (A WAV runs through it)

The other is a little trickier. You can either merge them into one longer
file, or you can guess where the first one will end and have the second one
start on the next slide.

I just learned how to add music files to pp2000. Thought I would send the instructions to you, just in case it would help with pp97.
Go to slide sorter - double click on first slide you want music added to - click "insert" on menu bar - click "movies & sounds"
click "sound from file" - click on file name; then "ok"; then "yes". When the slide appears, there will be a small icon
(possibly displayed on the slide - mine is in the middle of the slide). The icon will be something like a speaker horn.
Double click on the icon and the music will begin to play. Double (right click) on the icon, and a list of choices will
appear. Click "custom animation". A new display will appear; click on the "multimedia settings" tab. Check the box
"play using animation order"; then click "continue slide show"; on stop playing, enter the slide # you want the music file
to stop on. click ok. When the icon appears on the slide, you may have to drag it off. You probably know what I mean.
I hope this helps you. You can keep following this process to add the desired music file to all of the presentation.
