Hello!!
I am planning on buying Microsoft Plus:Digital Media Edition for copying
music..The cost of $15.00 seems very reasonable..Most people seem to
recommend other software programs..I will appreciate some input..Thank
you...Nick Meale

Its OK but depends what you want to do.

Audacity will copy music and its free (for editing wav's and mp3's) :

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Also free is AudioGrabber (for ripping CD's into wav or mp3 formats) :

http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/

Cheers,
Jerry

It works well for just recording analog sources to digital. It has
automated click and hiss removal. A separate module will convert the
digital file you make into many other formats, if you want, including
"Windows Media Lossless" which works well with WMP.

If that's all you want to do you're in business for $15. You could
easily make very good quality copies of all your records and tapes with it.
