I have just re-installed Microsoft Office on my computer
and am having troubles automatically getting my e-mails.
I have checked everywhere that I can to set it up but it
will not automatically receive an email. I have to open
up Outlook and send/receive to get my messages. Please
someone help me set it up so I don't have to do this.
 
In Office 2002 - Tools - Options - Mail Setup - Send/Receive - there is an
option you can auto send receive every x minutes.

Outlook must be actively running to retrieve messages. You can minimize it and allow it to run in the taskbar.
