Karen ... in addition, another possible option is to use a small, free
program called Outlock (spelling IS correct), available at:
http://www.eldblom.dk/path/
This will give you an icon in your Notification Tray which, when rt-clicked,
will give you options to open MS Outlook, created new contacts, app'ts, etc.
It has the added benefit of giving you pop-up reminders of appointmemts
without actually running Outlook.
It's not being developed any more but Ver 2.0 RC1still works beautifully on
my MS Outlook 2002.
If you decide to use Outlock, delete the shortcut to MS Outlook in your
startup folder and paste a copy of Outlock.
