I would like to know how to stop all the office
tools(access, frontpage, outlook, excel, word) from starting up when windows
starts. Can't I just open them when I want to use each, and will it speed up
my boot up time if I do that? Thanks for any help.

thanks Panda_man...forgot how to disable something from boot up....msconfig
then startup tab...got it. I was just going to start>programs>startup>and
deleting shortcut from there and it didn't work, but now it's done. thanks,
that was really quick to get an answer...now i will use newgroups often
instead of getting help via email with tech people.

you'll find most of the regulars here are far above 99% of the phone techs
anyway.

And the answer will most likely NOT be 'you'll have to do system restore
from the factory CD'.
