Microsoft Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers

I have Microsoft XP and I believe I deleted some file while cleaning my hard
drive.
Now every time I load a Microsoft application such as Microsoft Word,
Outlook or Excel I get a message that says

"installing components",

"the feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other
removabledisk that is not available"

"insert the "Microsoft Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers"
disk and click OK"

I've tried to use the XP disk but it doesn't work.

Help would be appreciated.

Greetings --

It's asking for the _Office_ XP CD, not the Windows XP CD.

Word, Excel and Outlook do not come with Windows. Only Outlook Express--a
different program--comes with Windows. If you have any version of Office, use
those installation disks to reinstall. You might have folders that say Word
etc. but you don't have the programs unless you installed Office.
