Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working

This is a new install, purchased separately from the Dell Latitude with Vista
OS. Word works, however Outlook will not open, preventing me from fully
installing my email account. I use Microsoft Exchange Server through my
company, Cisco. I access my network via Cisco VPN. I have tried many
things, but none successfully opens Outlook. I continually get the stopped
working error with no solution found. Please assist. What other information
is required to help troubleshoot?

I'm sorry, you are absolutely correct. It's Microsoft Office Enterprise
2007. As I am unable to actually open Outlook, I can't go to Help/About and
gather more info...hope this helps.
 
I have no dealings with Exchange, but perhaps try the Mail Applet in the
Control Panel (I assume Vista has such) to configure your mail account
 
DL, with the version number provided, Outlook 2007, do you have any
suggestions or solutions?
