Dear all

Forgive me but I am still a little computer
illiterate. MY question is this. My friend doesn't use
his Microsoft Office Proffessional anymore, he has
upgraded to Office 2003 edition. He gave me the Office
2000 to install on my Windows XP Home, but everytime I
try to install with the 25 character keys in the back of
the cd casing, it comes up invalid password. Can I use
this product without getting a license agreement from
Microsoft and If I do need one, how would I go about
doing that. Thank you in advance for your answers, I
really appreciate it.

That's called piracy and it's illegal if your friend gave it to you cause he didn't transfer the license and destroy all copies he had :(
