I have an E- Machines computer and microsoft office was already on my
computer , but it is just the 60 day trial. The instructions tell me to use
my product key number to activate it, but it is not taking my product key
number. I dont know what else to do.

Are you sure you are typing in the product key correctly? Those B's often
look like 8's (and vice versa).

Where did you get the product key? From the PC manufacturer? If so, they
would be your first contact.

Have you converted the trial to a Full version? (Involves the outlay of
MONEY.......)

If you are trying to enter the key that is affixed to the case of your
computer, it will not work. The key that is on the sticker is for the
Windows OS, and cannot be used to activate Microsoft Office.

You yourself stated that it was a trial version. Now that the trial has
expired, you must *BUY* it to continue using it. It would not be a trial
version if they gave you a key to activate it.
