the line jumps up over and over when I type data in lower one third of space

Could you clarify? I don't understand what, exactly, you are doing and what,
exactly, is happening.

Are you in datasheet view of a Table, and have expanded the view of the
Record so that one Field is shown in 7" of Column space, or in some other
situation? How are you placing the cursor in the lower part of that space,
if so? _What_ line? The line of text you are entering, or some other "line",
and to where is it jumping? "up and over" isn't very specific.

I have to enter lot of data in this field. This field covers 3/4 th of page.
It is very hard to impossible to enter data in lower one third of page. The
typed material and cursor does not stay on screen. It sinks in area below the
screen. This has to be dragged up after typing every line. This is wierd.
Hope it explains my problem.

If I understand correctly, you have a Text Box Control on a Form, which is
insufficient in size to hold all the information you have to type, and as
you progress down the Text Box, the contents scroll out of view. I don't
have an answer but have had similar situations when the Control isn't large
enough to display all the information in the Field that is used as Control
Source. If possible, enlarge both the Form and the Control; alternatively,
set the Control to show/use its Vertical Scroll Bar.
