Is microsoft office 1995 compatible with microsoft for
windows XP? Will I be able to make up a power point
presentation with XP (on my desktop) and transfer it via
CD to my power point 1995 (on my laptop)?

None of the new features that appeared in 97-2002 will work in 95 You can save your presentation as a backward compatible to 95, but will loose all the special effects that you create in 2002 (XP)

I suspect you'll have to try it to find out, Tom. I'd set a recovery point
first so that if installing it does anything nasty to the system, you can
roll it back out again.
