Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1

Hello,

I tried to download and install the .NET Framework update and got the
following message during the installation:

"An unhandled exception of type
'System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException' occurred in mscorlib.dll"

Does anybody else have that issue and what is the solution?

No. But I get the same exact error message when trying to install sp 1.
I read on another group that if you uninstall the framework and then
reinstall it, it would work, but don't waste your time. I did that and
it still gives the same error. This is ridiculous.
