microsoft MVP's opinion on MS lottery win

Hi,

have just received this supposedly from 'Microsoft corporation world
lottery'.

i guess this is a trick, and would like to ask Microsoft MVP's where to
email in the microsoft organisation to confirm this? please.

also to make others aware of it if it is a trick.

it goes on to ask name and address, but no credit card details. but it does
look convincing.

any comments from MVP's please?

There have been quite a few of these - example below from a site I watch -
mainly for the banking ones.
Do Google as well(something like 'lottery+microsoft' or 'lottery
fraud+microsoft') - you may find an example of yours.
Some months back, BG & microsoft announced that they do not run any
lotteries whatsoever.
