I just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2003. Every I open Outlook to
check my email I am prompted to enter settings for Microsoft LDAP Directory.
I don't know what this is, I don't know why this popping up, I don't know
what the setting should be, but more importantly I don't know how to make it
go away. I only use a single POP3 mail account. Amazingly the Microsoft
Knowledge Base knows nothing about it.

If you aren't using an LDAP address book, you should be able to use TOols | Email Accounts | View or change existing directories or address books to remove any reference to an LDAP directory. Make sure you keep the Outlook Address Book.

Thanks Sue

That might qualify as a little bug in Outlook Setup, that LDAP is installed
on an upgrade when it didn't exist before..
