I just received a popup window that says Microsoft
Internet Explorer at the top. Then it says Virus Warning!!
It then says that my computer has been infected with W32
RPC. Is this a scam? I accidently hit OK and it brought
me to a page that wants to sell me something and says that
Norton and McAfee will not fix the problem. Has anyone
else seen this?

Hi Kathy,

Its sounds a normal pop-up AD window.

Stop Messenger SPAM
The developer of the messenger spam software indicates on their web site
that "these messages are completely anonymous and virtually untraceable.
With this program your IP address never shows up anywhere."
