Microsoft Internet Explorer Error

Whenever I try to download a picture onto Ebay, that I
have put in c: using my digital camera, an error comes up
in a box, that says Internet Explorer error contact
Microsoft. I have been doing this for five months with no
errors. I have tried to download multiple updates from
microsoft with no success. One download stops at 87% and
goes no further. Please contact me with any suggestions.
