Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 drivers?

Ok I can NOT use drivers 6.1 with this because it crashes Microsoft SQL
Managment Studio... its been documented a few places now... it actually blue
screens the system with a win32.sys error! well reverted to IntelliPoint 5.5
for XP and there is NO IntelliMouse explorer 3.0 listed only 4.0? I just
bought this mouse brand new 3 months ago! its model 1088 its the black one
not the white one... anyone know why there is no drivers for it in 5.5? or
where I can find drives for it that are not 6.1? kinda wierd that 5.5 has
version 4 mice but not version 3 intellimouse explorer hardware
 
I have an IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 and am currently using the 6.02 version of the software which
has the 3.0 mouse as a listed device. I tried the new 6.2 but went back because I didn't like all
the extra stuff that was being loaded at the start.
