Microsoft Imaging

Win2K. Microsoft Imaging software auto runs whenever I
activate my scanner. I use a different program to do my
scanning, yet, I always have to close the Imaging
window. How do I disable the auto run of Microsoft
imaging OR uninstall the Microsoft Imaging software all
together ?

Windows 2000 is merely starting the Imaging software because it is told
to. The way the scanner software was setup determined that. You will
need to look in there for a way to set the default application that is
to be run when you activate the scanner.
