microsoft help and support and other html help not working

Hi all :-

Although i have reinstalled the above by clicking the pchealth.inf, but
i still cannot see the above in the "start".

Checked the suggestion in microsoft support site on the registry entry
at %Windir%\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\HelpCtr.exe. It is intact and
files are in there too.

Also when i invoke other applications' html help, only the list of
titles in content page are available, but detailed texts are missing
(nothing at all on the right panel.)

Any suggestions ?
 
Are you using a custom theme?
Switching back to an original XP theme may fix the problem.

Otherwise try re-registering these files -

Click Start then select Run and type in:
helpctr -regserver
regsvr32 itss
regsvr32 hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32 jscript
Press OK after each one

Thanks for your suggestion. I entered all your commands but still the
same.

Did a search and found some one suggested these instructions, worked
well now after i keyed in the instructions.

regsvr32 /i shdocvw
regsvr32 /i mshtml
