Hi,
I am trying to create a line graph chart in access. However, the software
keeps showing the default data in the datasheet even if I put a query in my
row source to access my desired fields. What should I do?

thanks

Do you mean the graph shows the default East, North, South, West
graph?

I would suggest you first create the graph on a form (using the same
query row source as now).
When it's correct on the form, copy and Paste the graph onto your
report.
It seems to work.

Hi Fred

yes the graph shows the default East, North, South, West. I tried your
advice and re-created it in a form but it gave me the same output. For some
reason my row source doesn't get linked to my graph. My query is fine. I
changed the datasheet view of my graph to columns also but still no change.

Any other ideas?

I generally view the datasheet view of the Row Source and copy to the
clipboard. I then go to the design view of the chart control, open the
datasheet of the control and paste the actual records over the bogus records.
