I have a sub-report that is grouped by company ID and linked to a master
report by the same ID. I would like to show a new pie chart in the sub
report for each ID, but I can't see how to group on a pie chart or link a
pie chart.

Link Child Fields and Link Master Fields exist in the chart properties but I
receive the error message "Can't build a link between unbound forms" when I
click on it.

Thanks in advance...

Your main report and your graph should both be bound to records/query. Just
type the common field name(s) into the link master child properties.

One of the issues I have is that when I include the ID in the data (category
and cost) I get strange results in the chart. However, I included the ID as
a part of the query that the chart is built on and I set the Row Source Type
to Table/Query. The same ID is in the report query and the report is
grouped on this ID. I typed in the ID field name for both Link Child Fields
and Link Master Fields and put the chart in the group footer. It repeats
for each new ID but is blank.

Is there a way to have an ID field in the chart data but not have it display
in the chart or affect the chart?
