Microsoft Golf 99 Help

Ok this is for a buddy's problem we have Microsoft Golf ,we both had ME ,all worked fine he just upgraded to XP now for some reason it says not enough memory to run please close applications or increase virtual memory.
he has a gig of ram on his system and like i said it worked fine with ME and all the other games work fine with XP .
any ideas?

Just to let you know he did the microsoft upgrades and he is using the old pc with all the old harware grapgics card ect.

Hi Ron,

If he upgraded over XP it could be causing this problem.
If this is the case, have him do a clean install of XP, and
then install his games including Golf. I hope that works! :-)

Yes, that's what I meant.;-) Have him go ahead and
do a clean install of Windows XP then Ron. Win Me is
not the best foundation to install Windows XP on top of.

The other thing to keep in mind is that XP requires much more ram then
ME. ie - 64 megs may be plenty to run games in ME, but in XP, it's
barely enough to run the OS.
