I have noticed that the Microsoft fire wall on my computer is off, even
though I had the ON marked. I am also running Mcafeey firewall, and I don't
know if this has something to do with it. Basically, the Microsoft firewall
is on, but when I reboot, the Off button is marked, most of the time. I have
several computers, at work and at home, all running Win Xp some home some
Pro, and they all have the same identical problems. Mcaffey has no solution,
they claim it's Microsoft. Any Ideas?

McAfee firewall will send instructions to XP to turn off the SP1/2 firewall
if it is enabled.. this is no bad thing as one does not require two
firewalls to run at the same time..
