Hello all....
I have a windows 2000 machine that was running office XP just fine. I
wanted to upgrade it to Office 2003 and when I did so Outlook would not find
the exchange server. I tried to enter the DNS name and also the ip address
both to no avail. I get the message, "your microsoft exchange server is
unavailable," with the options of work offline, retry, or cancel. I'm
logging into a local windows account on the machine. In other areas I can do
this with no problem but here it does not work. If I log right into the
active directory domain it works fine. What am I doing wrong or what needs
to be changed to make this work?? I have also tried unselecting the local
cache of the mailbox to no avail as well. Thanks in advance for any help you
can provide.
