Microsoft Excel 97 Reinstall Question

Can anyone answer my question? I recently had a virus on
my computer and lost the majority of my programs and
files, I did have backup discs to reinstall word and some
other programs. My question is, I recently moved and
lost my Microsoft Excel 97 Program disc, although I still
have excel 97 on my computer, it tells me that part of my
program is damaged or missing and asks me to reinstall
the program, obviously I can't. Do I need to purchase
Microsoft Office or Excel to reinstall, or can I purchase
an excel upgrade to reinstall?

Call Microsoft and tell them your story. If you registered, maybe they will
help you out.

If not, it may be time to upgrade. But look at
http://www.microsoft.com/office

and see what qualifies for an upgrade. Office 97 may not qualify you for an
upgrade anymore and you would have to go full product.

You can search on Ebay - probably someone selling Office 97.
