microsoft excel 2007 keyboard shortcut for file menu

I have a slight disability and therefore use the mouse as little as possible.
What is the keyboard shortcut for the file menu? Also, is there a way of
going round this ribbon thing with the keyboard? (eg. like the tab key used
to)?

hit Alt key and select your desire letter in the ribbon

It mentions F6.
F6 then (not together) F, opens the Office menu (equilvanet to click the
Office 'ball') with letters displayed for the next stage.
