I get at least 20-30 of these bogas emails a day. Please
tell me there is a way to stop these and is there a spam
blocker for OE?

You can set a message rule to block messages that contain certain text
strings. If the same string appears in all the e-mails, you can filter
based on that text string.

In OE go to Tools, Message Rules, Mail. Click the New button.

The rules parameters should be:

1) Select the Conditions for your rule

Where the message body contains specific words

2) Select the Actions for your rule

Delete it
Mark it as read

Then in 3) Rule Description click the blue contains specific words link.

Enter each of the words of the phrase one at a time and click the Add
button. When you're done, click the Options button. For Apply rule if,
select Message contains the words below AND Message matches all of the words
below.

Doug,

It's no longer enough to do what you suggest although everything you are
suggesting is right.

I think the user has to go to his isp to make sure their spam detector is
working (if they have one) and empty the hundreds of these messages that
they catch and delete them.

I was doing what you suggest to good effect and then I received notification
that my mailbox on the server was rapidly filling up.

This one is a real problem.

Remove nospam from email address (e-mail address removed)

Message rules can delete from the server.
