Open My Computer and right click on your CD drive.
Click on Properties on the Recording tab in the opening window. Check the
box "Enable CD recording on this drive and Automatically....

I had already done that. Let me say that the program worked fine the first
two times we used it. Then seemingly out of the blue, we can create the
photo story but cannot burn it to cd. When we go to burn, a window comes up,
and where you can choose the burner, it says there is no recordable drive.

I tried that before I posted the original message. The program worked fine
the first two times we tried it. Now when we try to burn the photo story, it
opens the burn window, but then says it cannot find a recordable drive.
Please help.

You may have to do it again if you have something like Roxio and you used it
to copy music or anything else. Every time you use Roxio, it takes over and
you have to set the recording tab again.
If this does not work after trying it again, please let us know so some
solution can come your way.

I did install roxio 6 in between the time the photo story worked and now when
it isn't. Do I need to uninstall Roxio? I really like Roxio, but I will
take it off if it can't be fixed. I have tried going to my computer and
setting up the cdrw drive to record since installing Roxio, and nothing
seemed to change.

You should not have to uninstall Roxio 6. However, after using Roxio you
need to set the the cd drive to enable recording for XP to use it.
Apparently, this is not working for you.
You can try uninstalling Roxio and then set your cd drive again and see if
this will work and then install Roxio 6 again.
I use Photo Story, but not from Digital Image Suite 10, (the version I have
was downloaded from Photo Story, v.1 and then v.2) so I may have a different
set up than the one you have from Digital Image Suite 10. I have Roxio 7 but
even with Roxio 5, I had not problem.
Sorry I can't be of more help but you should be able to contact MS help with
your version of Digital Image 10 and see what they say. I have Digital Image
9 and had some questions about it, submitted them to MS and received answers
very promptly.
