Hey there,

Since last weeks theres been something going on with my
email accts...
I've been receiving this emails about MICROSOFT CRITICAL
UPDATES over and over again... and the "delievery report"
too...

I read a post on this group when someone said to lock for
the first IP adreess and send them an email...
Is that the best to do?

Im talking about 6 email acct at least (email at work is
incluided, even tho i've never used except to email co-
workers)

I believe it is happening because spammers are harvesting email addresses
from the newsgroups. Try changing your return email address in newsgroups
properties to a fake one- otherwise you are broadcasting a good email
address to all that are looking for one.-

I bet you posted at least once from that workgroup computer! Set up some
rules based on content to reduce the problem and hope it subsides- it should
unless you continue to broadcast the address.....

No it's not - people with munged addys or completely false addys (like
mine) are getting them as well

Well...

I dont think so, i've NEVER post any message in this or
any other place using the accts i've been having problems
with, and i do mean NEVER...

Thats why i dont get it,
I just checked Outlook again, and my antivirus software
pop-up saying there is a virus
Worm.Automat.AHB with different file names from
the "Delivery Failure Notice" emails...

The system deleted them, and put them on quarentine tho,
but as i said before...

I got about 5 different email accts with this problem, on
3 diferent computers.
