How do I stop receiving email with the subject "Microsoft Critical
Patch?" I must have signed up for it on the MS site, but now cannot
figure out how to unsubscribe. It's a PITA!

If it's an email with an attachment, it's not from Microsoft, it's a virus.
Not much you can do about it, except delete it and don't install it.

You can't stop them. You can try to create filters to delete them as
they arrive. But, This is isn't very effective as the subject line and
the "From" is changed.

You are getting these either because you have posted your real address
to a public site or forum, or someone was infected by the atacheed virus
and has your name in thier address book.

Don NOT open teh attachemnt. It is a virus. Delte the e-mail
immediately. The e-mail is not from Microsoft. Microsoft, Nor any lare
software, will send patches through e-mail unless you have specifically
requested it from a Tech support person. In which case, you would be
expecting it, of course.
