Good day,

I am using WinXP Pro SP1 on a single non-networked pc with 3 users.

I have a question concerning Microsoft Basline Security Analyzer.

When I run this program, it tells me that I am missing 3 security updates:
819696, 813360 and an update to MSXML 3.0

Now, when I go to Microsoft Windows Update, it tells me that my system does
not require any critical updates or any anything related to the above.

Microsoft first says that I need the updates, then they say I don't.

Anyone else run into this??

MBSA..
*Maybe* *If* *Should* are all words commonly associated with this product.

Yes, the MBSA is sometimes flaky. Are you using the latest
version?

Greetings --

Well, if the Hotfixes that the MBSA says you're missing are listed
as installed under the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs applet, you
can safely conclude that the MBSA is wrong, I should think.
