I have Microsoft antispyware and I have done lots of
scans with this software trying to remove these toolbar
installers. Each time I log on at the bottom right hand
side of my screen a couple of red boxes keep on coming up
saying that toolbars are trying to install themselves
even though I'm not on the internet. I keep on removing
them and then permentally deleting them from the
quarantine but they keep on coming back. I have switched
off system restore and used many other spyware software
packages to try to delete them. Do you have any ideas I
could try?

Thanks very much

Make sure you run a scan in safe mode, using a Full System Scan. On the scan
Page choose Scan Options > Full System Scan, also remember to disable System
restore before you restart safe mode.

Hi Michael,
Boot into Safe Mode (F8) at startup;
Empty your temporary files AND your Temporary Internet Files C:\Documents
and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files folder ;
Run the scan while in safe mode;
If you are running SP2, open IE--->Tools--->Manage Add-ons, and uncheck any
BHO's that you don't recognize.
