it is working alright but when i start it up it is asking
for a cd

If you don't have the CD, or do not wish to have the product called for
installed, here's the fix:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301

Install this, find the product related to the CD that's being called for,
and remove that using the cleanup tool.
