Microsoft Antispyware lost the green in my screen

I downloaded and ran the Microsoft Anti Spyware, There were
errors that were detected and removed. However after I
booted up my system, the green color is washed out in my
resolution? I checked my screen settins and they all seem
ok, it's almost like a color was lost. Has this happened
to anyone else?

I'm running XP Home Edition SP2. The screen I have is a
Dell 1900 FP.

It would seem that this would be just a coincidence, but you could try
uninstalling MSAS, see what that does. Or you my want to go to the
Dell.com site and check for updates video driver, this has not to do
with the fact that you have a Dell 19 FP.

Mel;
Try this monitor on another computer.
Try another monitor on this computer.
You may have color gun failure that occurred at the same time.

The 19FP is a LCD Flat Panel and does not have a color gun.

It is still valid to swap monitors to verify if that is or is not the
problem.
And I would do that before making any software changes that have no hope if
there is a hardware failure.

I once was ready to replace a monitor, at the request of the user who had
been troubleshooting a problem with it--which had a similar problem. One
color was completely gone.

In the end, it turned out that in the process of troubleshooting, someone
(!) had shoved a control in the advanced section of the vendor-specific
video stuff for the card so that the colors had that effect.

Check ALL the property pages associated with the video driver and any system
tray video-related applets, or control panel applets. Look for pages
related to the quality of the color reproduction, and hit set default
anywhere you can find it.

Although as others have noted this isn't a CRT failure, I suspect there is
some equivalent failure point on an analog LCD display--also check
cables--both ends.

Is it possible that either end of your monitor lead has
been knocked slightly loose?

My kids did this to mine the other day and I got a similar
result (which I'd fortunately seen before, so they didn't
get in too much trouble ;)).
