I had this problem as well, and so did another laptop I just installed it

Its recommended you update to the latest build, it may fix such an issue:

Andre - I have the latest build - just got it today for one of my users. At
one point in time, he had as many as five icons in the tray. I currently,
at this moment, show two. If I float over them, one will go away I'm sure.
My version is .509.
