microsoft antispyware freezes when scanning registry

MSAS freezes when it is scanning the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\

The actual key is comprised of all zeroes (0000-000-000)
something like that... Has anyone heard of this issue?
or better yet, have a way around it... Other than this,
I am happy with this beta release and look forward to the
initial public release...
