Microsoft Antispyware Error[Cannot Detect Internet Connection]

Server Problem? I'm not so sure. I have two standalone computers at
home and both have the latest software updates. One has been working
flawlessly and the other has not updated definitions since Nov 20.
 
The error read;[ Cannot Detect an Internet Connection]. This evening it
updated and seems fine now.

I'm not sure what is happening here--I dont see these error messages on my
systems, but there may be a geographic factor.

There are multiple causes of both failure to update, and the message that
the updater cannot connect to the Internet. It isn't safe to assume that the
causes of either message is the same as another machine with the same
symptom, nor that the two symptoms are necessarily related.
