Microsoft antispyware does not recognize antispyware
program called ap9h4qmo.exe. I attempted the tool
"Suspectd Spyware Report" and got the error "An error
occurred submitting the scan results. Please check you
[sic] Internet proxy settings and try again". (I do not
have specifed proxy settings for my web browser.)

I'm sorry that the reporting tool isn't working for you.

You might want to try running that executable by the virus checkers at:

http://virusscan.jotti.org or http://www.virustotal.com

They may give you a name to attach to it. Additionally, Trend Micro's
online scanner now detects and cleans spyware, so it may be worth trying for
you as well:
