microsoft antispyware beta

installed 2 days ago microsoft antispyware.accidentally
uninstalled kazaa media desktop.re-installed it, but it
wont open even when authorized my the antispyware. any
suggestions?

When you say you accidentally uninstalled Kazaa Media
Desktop, do you mean Anti-spyware deleted some of its
components or you actually uninstalled the program? You
might just try the following if you haven't already:

1. Uninstall Kazaa from Control Panel's Add or Remove
Software.

2. Run a Registry cleaner. If you don't have one, check
out http://www.macecraft.com

3. Reinstall Kazaa!

If that doesn't work, it might mean your firewall is now
blocking certain adware requisits of Kazaa.

Just out of curiosity, why would anyone that wants to run Kazaa take the
time to install MS Anti-Spyware and then take the time to come to this newsgroup
and post a message about how to get Kazaa to work? Hmm, one of life's ponderables
I guess.

I agree,
Installing Kazaa, then having problems removing spy-ware is like
intentionally taking poison, then scrambling to find a cure.

I have a small PC repair business,and 98% of the PC's I fix have Kazza, or
Morpheus installed on them. Getting free music and pirated software comes at
a price for those running P2P applications.

Most times,it takes less time for me to totally re-format a client's PC than
to hunt down and remove all the instances of Spy-ware.

"Gee Tom...I invited all of this crap on to my machine.... I wonder why it
is sick".
