Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta Version

The antispyware keeps running and locks up any way to
delete it. I can get to the internet and also use some
of my icons on the desk top, but I can't use the control
panel to delete the spyware...nor can I use Norton System
Works. Do you have an extraction tool that will remove
Microsoft AntiSpyware from my system (XP Pro)?

Have you tried booting the computer into Safe Mode?

Press F8 as system startup and select Safe Mode.
Do a complete scan with MWAS while in safe mode, often it is the spyware
running in normal mode that causes the scanner to hang, not the scanner
itself.

If it still hangs you should report the bug to MS. You can also uninstall it
while in Safe Mode, however you should understand that your system is
probably still infected with something so you should either use another
antispyware application, or seek some professional help.
