microsoft antispyware Beta 1

Hi
Forgive me for not being technically gifted, but I have
been attacked by a trojan recently, my symptoms are
persitant pop ups even when I'm not surfing, and the
antispyware has identified a possible browser hijack
which is impacting my default homepage.
Having scanned my pc several times using the tool, it
does not appear to destroy these parasites.
Can you please advise (in easy terms) what steps I need
to take to address this.
I have also used the NoAdware software and this does not
appear to have resolved these isses.

Download this free AntiVirus utility:
http://free.grisoft.com/softw/70free/setup/avg70free_308a468.exe

Restart in safe mode and run bother Microsoft AntiSpyware and AVG, (one
after the other of course).
For Microsoft AntiSpyware, on the Scan Page, choose Scan Options > Full
System Scan (check the boxes below) and click "Run Scan Now".

Follow the instructions also for scanning your computer using AVG (remember
this must also be done in safe mode.

First, get rid of NoAdaware. See:
