Microsoft Anti-Spyware doesn't work well with SpySweeper

I have had two machines so far that become virtually
unusable after installing latest version of Microsoft
AntiSpyware in conjunction with Spysweeper. I am unable
to open files, folders, programs and processing power
spikes up to 85-99% continuously with gcasdtsrv.exe being
the offending process. Disabling Spysweeper or
uninstalling Microsoft Antispyware (if you can get there -
the process does not let you kill it!) seems to take
care of the issue. Spysweeper is a registered license
copy.

Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

MS AntiSpyware starts gcasdtsrv.exe and on my W200 system killed InstallShield. I tried several different installs and they all seemed to stall. Sometimes 5-10 minutes later they would continue. Uninstalled MS Anti.... and everything seems to be working great. It's a shame since MS Anti... seems to be a good product.
