My micro antispyware beta was working fine. Then when I
tried to launch it an error 101 popped up. I uninstalled
it and tried to reinstll it. However, when I try to run
it the same pop up comes on and says that there was an
error 101 which occured when I tried to reinstall it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Dan,

try this several times if needed:

Goto: Start/Control Panel/Add-Remove programs/MSAS
then click on support info!!!
Then click on repair!

I have the same problem and am looking for a solution if
anyone has any ideas. Thanks, Mike S.

according to ms thumb rule . a normal user doe'nt have all
permissions to resitricted system files.
Antispyware copies it dll and other files in to system
directory of windows normal user ca'nt run the program

Admin prvilidges are required.

was having the same problem over and over. then after another de-install and
re-install it did it again until i shut the machine down and did a cold boot
- it works fine now.
