I have windows 2000 that does not appear to have microsoft
access on it. I am using a works computer. So this
probably has limited programs on. Are there any other
programs that I may be able to use to access a database
program?

The *operating system* (Windows2000, Windows98, XP, ME, etc.) has very
little to do with what software is installed. Access, Works, dBase,
and so on are "application programs" which might or might not be
installed on any of these computers. Talking about a "works computer"
is like talking about a "drywall pickup truck" - you can carry drywall
in a pickup truck, but you can carry other things too!

There are many, many database programs available, such as dBase,
Visual FoxPro, MySQL, SQL/Server, Access, 4thDimension, and on and on.
What kind of database do you have, and what do you want to accomplish?

Not really. if you have another database software, you
may be able to access the data through the ODBC driver but
you need Access software to be able to use Forms, Reports,
etc ...

You can also use Excel to get to the data.
