La Shawn,
Your request is rather broad in scope for the News Group. If you are brand
new to Access, here are a couple of suggestions to get you started:
1. Click Help on the Access menu, then click the Getting Started topic.
You will see a number of sub-topics: Click "Using a database for this first
time". This will give you an overview of the things that a database does
and how you can use one to store and manage data.
2. Access ships with a sample database: Northwind.mdb. Open it and
take a look at how it works.
3. Get to a bookstore which has a decent Computer Books section (Borders
and Barnes & Noble are two good ones in the USA). Browse through the
beginner level books and pick up one or two. If there is a MicroCenter
store near you or a community college, you might want to consider a beginner
course.
When you have decided what kind of data you need to put into a database and
are ready to begin creating it, post back with specific questions.
