microphone

hi i need some help plz.i can't seem to get my mic/head
set to work properly,i can here slightly but not very
well but the mic won't work at all.i think i have click
on all the rite options but not sure really what i have
done wrong. could u plz help stalker xxx

what type of sound card do you have installed? loike

sound blaster live or what? check the basics first make
sure the mic is plugged into the right port on the sound
card, it should have a small pic of a mic on it. then
configure the mic on the control panel at sound and audio
devices. also on the task bar at the bottom of the screen
there is apic of a microphone make sure that is toggled
to on.
