Microphone Setup

I connected a microphone to the tower of my computer and
it does not work. I went to hardware help and followed
the instructions on how to setup a microphone. When I
went to control panel and opened the "SPEECH ICON" there
was no speech recognition tab to allow me to setup an
input device.

try going to the control panel, choose sounds and audio devices, then go to
the voice tab. CHoose test hardware and it will walk you through setting it
up.

Thank you so much. It worked!!! The quality is not great
but it worked.
