Ok I got Vista and everything is fine except theres something up with my
microphone..It's always on!! When I speak into it I can immediately hear it
from my speakers. is it susposed to do that? And also, none of my
applications that uses the microphone work anymore. Not even Vista's
(crappy) Sound Recorder. The system says it doesn't detect a mic anywhere
but I can hear the actual hardware constantly work ..it's just not working
where it should be. Thanks in advanced.
Did you go to Control Panel > Sound > Recording, make sure that your
microphone is set as Default (if not, right-click it and choose
Default), and check the volume level under microphone "Properties" then
"Levels" ?
